Smart bounce identification
With our smart bounce reporting facility you can see why emails have bounced back. They're divided into two categories:
'Hard' bounce – unable to be delivered because of a temporary problem, such as a full mailbox.
'Soft' bounce – an email with a permanent error, such as an incorrect email address.
Our system will attempt to send to a soft bounce address eight times, before placing the email in your 'Do not mail' file. A hard bounce address will be mailed three times, then moved to your 'Do Not Mail' file and flagged in your failed export file.
