To save you hours of time inserting your contacts one at a time into little green plane, we have developed a useful ‘import subscribers’ feature to upload them all at once.

Simply save your Excel contact list as a .CSV Excel file and click import. We will manage any duplications for you and also put subscribers on a Do Not Mail list if they decide to opt-out of your mailings.

Before importing contacts you need to ensure that you have an understanding of the groups of people you want to market to in the future. It is very easy to simply import all your contacts into a single list. However, this may not always generate the best results; we would suggest segmenting your audiences from the start. It is much better to define the groups you are likely to send campaigns to at the beginning.

Once you have created the lists you require, you are ready to import. Go into your list and click ‘Import Subscribers’. If you want to keep the data held within little green plane as the master and just add in missing information, keep the default ‘Maintain’ option. If you want to use the data file as the master, updating any new information about subscribers and importing new contacts use the ‘Update’ option.
