Email opens

When you broadcast your email, you will be able to see exactly who, when and how many of your subscribers have opened it - all in real time.

little green plane, like many good email service providers, includes a tiny transparent image in all emails that needs to be downloaded in order to track the open.

When this image is requested, the associated code allows us to track the email as being opened by a specific recipient. We will also mark a recipient as an open when they click through, if they have not already been tracked.
  
If your opens rate declines steadily over time, it may be that you have a problem with reader fatigue, so its time to review what you’re sending out and add a little spice.
 
Bigger lists tend to have lower open rates. A focussed single topic email aimed at an interested group of people will yield better results. Subject lines, relevant content, appropriate timing, level of personalisation, frequency and your sign-up procedure can all affect your open rate.
