Test, test and test again!

Testing is key to the success of your campaign so make sure you give it the time and attention it deserves. I know how it goes, you've built a stunning email that is going to revolutionise your company's business / change the world and you just want to get it sent so that you can see the results and tell your boss how great you are! But before you rush to hit the 'go' button STOP! (...hammer time).

Don't waste all your effort by sending a campaign that has not been fully tested. It is important to ensure that the email is going to be delivered and arrive looking as you intended. little green plane now has a simple visual indicator (big ticks and crosses) to let you know when you have completed tasks, so check that they have all been completed before you broadcast.

It takes a long time to build good relationships and build strong email contact lists, but it only takes a second to click on the unsubscribe button. So ensure that your email presents the right image of the your company by testing in different email clients (Outlook, Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail, etc).

Top Tip

The 'Send Preview' in the Test section of the campaign screen sends almost instantaneously but it is not going through the main broadcast sender. Therefore its does not add the footer / unsubscribe information to the bottom of your email. Please before aware of this when testing internally. We recommend that you create an internal test list within your contacts and send a full campaign to this list as part of your final testing procedure.

Testing is not dull, it is important! As they say you never get a second chance to make a first impression!
